Meet new friends and have conversations in this chill roguelike! Unfortunately your social energy is limited- how far can you go before you're too tired to interact any more?

Note: please use fullscreen (bottom right button) for the game to display correctly! :)

Love this!! The cards do a great job representing give-and-take in conversations and I love the bonus(?) points for matching shapes on adjacent cards. Is the AI acting randomly, or do different characters have different decks for their personality? Can't tell.

Overall cool concept. Well done!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :) The different characters do have different decks for their personality!

Did a video playthrough - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efs26IFoej4 - it took my brain a few turns to grok it, but I enjoyed the concept!

There was a kinda bad bug in that any tiles you play on the right hand side of the board (under the score labels) aren’t rotateable. Whatever, minor issue.

Hopefully you both take an interest in growing this one a bit!

First impressions:

I got into my first conversation and all I got was no, no, no, no in response. 10/10 completely accurate.

Suggestions

-would like to see my entire deck when out of conversation

-a tutorial would be nice explaining how conversations work. I muddled through it by just saying no (which I guess is pretty accurate, but still...)

-the first time I got an answer which is not a no (a fun fact), I felt such elation. Unfortunately, the points don't seem to agree (4 vs 6 points for just a no). How do points work again? Could use some balancing.

Nitpicks

-default resolution is too small for the game.

Bugs

-UI blocks the right of the board, even in fullscreen resolution. Can't rotate my cards.

Conclusion

Overall, I see potential in the concept, and while I don't usually like CCGs this one was interesting enough for me to try out. Some QOL changes would be nice

Conclusion

QOL is a concern. I think some design work is still required to fully flesh out the cards system,  because right now they seem pretty self contained within each 'family'. Overall, I see potential in the concept, and while I don't usually like CCGs this one was interesting enough for me to try out. Looking forwards to seeing your next project.
